Brides, Bubbles, & Brunch

I love sparkles. And playful calligraphy. And brunch. Put them all together, and you have one amazing bridal shower invitation. This semi-custom suite was a delight to design they just scream posh bridal shower. From the sleek black envelope with gold calligraphy to the glitter envelope liner, and simply elegant blush and gold suite, nothing here disappoints. I was sad to have these leave my desk! I hope you enjoy!

Jamie & Nick’s Summer Maternity Session

Over the summer I had the pleasure of capturing this beautiful couple. They were expecting their first babe (stay tuned for that newborn session!) and I have to say they are just the cutest. Being about six months pregnant myself at the time, Jamie and I could just look at each other and say “I get it” to each other. But to be honest, this couple was so beautiful, and the park we shot at was so peaceful, I almost forgot that I was a very pregnant photographer and all I could see was the fun, quirky love these two shared and how much they were looking forward to meeting their little girl. Enjoy!

Beachy Infinity Wedding Suite

Remember that time I showed you Amy and Jeff’s beachy save the dates? WELL I promised to share with you their beautiful custom wedding invitations as well. Just in time for some (hopefully) warmer weather to roll in and stay for a while.

The couple incorporated the infinity symbol throughout their day, including the bride’s engagement ring. What a perfect tone to set for a wedding! The soft rolling watercolor just makes me feel like I am sitting with my toes in the sand, waves washing over my feet. Finish it off with a sand-colored envelope with white ink and you have yourself a swoon-worthy beachy wedding invitation. It was so much fun to work together with the bride’s parents on this project. Enjoy!

Matt & Dana’s Very Autumn Engagement Session

These two are some of the most fun, quirky (in the best way ever), silly people. It was such a wonderful experience for me to capture their engagement photos on a perfect fall afternoon. I couldn’t even contain my squeaks of excitement as I went through these photos. I can’t even with the corn husks and the almost-smooches, and the pumpkins. And I can’t wait to share with your their Save the Dates! Enjoy!

Sam & Roxanne’s Dusty Blue Letterpress Suite

I loooooove letterpress. Its luxurious but still approachable. Its fantastic to the touch, and fascinating to look at. I was able to design this letterpress suite for a bride and groom and their September wedding. Luckily the couple are a wonderful friends of mine and my hub’s, so when I told her we should design her suite with letterpress in mind, she just said “Sure, whatever you say”. It kinda felt like Christmas.

Soft dusty blue and grey were the chosen color palette, and the Bride just wanted simple elegance. We designed a complimentary ceremony program that featured the same color palette and some vintage florals. Swoon worthy for sure! Enjoy!

Amy & Jeff’s Beachy Watercolor Save the Date

I had the pleasure of creating a custom design for Amy  and Jeff’s Memorial Day Weekend wedding. In addition to incorporating their color palette of coral and aqua, the couple also wanted to include the infinity symbol. It’s totally their thing- he had a custom ring made that includes the symbol (I know, soooo adorable, right?!).

We bounced around a few ideas, and landed on this airy and casual design. Totally a reflection of them — you can totally tell that about them from their photo!

I can’t wait to design and share their wedding suite!

Soft hues and watercolor make this save the date a beachside wedding dream.

Caitlin and Gary’s Lavender Suite

This past October very good friends of mine tied the knot, and I was lucky enough to work with them to create a custom suite. The bride loved lavender and had a color scheme of purple and navy. How amazing. After several revisions, we landed on this gorgeous suite.

The suite featured a hand illustrated lavender border and hand calligraphed details.

The bride wanted to wrap the invitation suites in ribbon, so we were able to source an absolutely gorgeous purple velvet ribbon. What a treat for her guests to pull these beauties out of the mailbox!

For their ceremony and reception paper we brought in the lavender in the form of a small wreath surrounding their calligraphed initials.  It flowed so nicely from the invitations.

It was so fun to create these one-of-a-kind masterpieces for such an amazing couple!

Botanicals Everywhere!

Botanicals seem to be making frequent appearances in event stationary these days. It is no different in wedding stationary! I for one love this theme, and have run with it in many of Honeybee Paper designs.

There is something super fresh and inviting about florals and other flora. It probably has something to do with the fact that we find them outside, and let’s be honest, a little nature does the soul good!

Wedding stationary and botanicals seem to marry perfectly together (pun totally intended!) and when you combine it with the perfect summer wedding, there is nothing not to love!

Bottom line, Honeybee Paper is in love with botanicals!
